Senior Collection: Soul Force - Accessories SS19
In addition to my six-look collection, I created a line of accessories to be a part of my collection. For these accessories, I wanted to nod at both my original inspiration for my collection, as well as reflect my recent inspiration from travels abroad. My original warm, casual aesthetic comes through in the colors and fabrics. Playful details and styles such as safety pins, embroidery and gold chains reflect my inspiration from a recent trip to Tulum, Mexico. Enjoy!

YMA FSF 2019
These featured designs are three of the six looks I completed for the 2019 YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund. My concept was to bring Los Angeles based concept store, Maxfield to Milan. Thus providing Milan with a taste of the LA streetwear style. My collection is targeted for women, ages 18-32. It features graphic t’s, moto jackets and dresses in playful silhouettes.

Integrated Laser Cut Cocktail Dress

Lasercut Cocktail Dress
I designed and made this cocktail dress in the spring of 2018 using inspiration I drew from the recent remodeling of my college campus at Washington University in St. Louis. The task was to create a cocktail dress for women ages 35-65. After researching and interviewing members of the target market, I designed this dress. I cut and etched the leather using a laser cutter, in order to mimic the pathways that lead through campus from an aerial view.

Denim Pants and Knit Top
I designed and made this knit top and pair of jeans in the spring of 2018 for an assignment based on the up and coming Los Angeles luxury streetwear brand, Unravel. I drew inspiration from their innovative way of rebuilding and redesigning the classic white t-shirt and denim look.

Patternmaking Final Shibori Dyed and Beaded Dress
I designed and made this dress in the fall of 2017 for my pattern making final project. I shibori dyed satin crepe fabric in a way that would reflect the inspiration I draw from the colors of the sky. Similarly, the beading was inspired by and meant to reflect the stars in the night’s sky.

AOA Design Competition 2018
This alpaca fiber coat was designed for an entry into the Alpaca Owners Association of Missouri in 2018. The designed outfit had to consist of majority alpaca fiber.

Lasercut Cocktail Dress Illustrations
These 4 dresses were designed as other potential designs for our laser cut cocktail dress assignment.

Helmut Lang 3D Printed Collection
From a designer of our choice, the goal of this assignment was to create a 6-look collection using elements of 3D printed fabric. My collection was inspired by space and futuristic innovation of designs and the design process

Yves Saint Laurent Iconic Looks
I hand drew these illustrations as an ode to my ever-inspiring, favorite designer, Yves Saint Laurent.

Childrenswear Collection for Lil' Lemons
I designed this 4-look childrenswear collection for For Love & Lemon’s kids clothing line, Lil’ Lemons. I was charged with choosing an existing kid clothing brand and creating 4 looks for them, using 3 self-designed patterns/graphics.

YMA FSF 2017 Designs
These three looks were part of my six for the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund in 2017. My idea was to bring 3D printed fabric to Topshop, adding a customizable element for the customer.

'How I'm Feeling' Mood Board December 2016
Assigned to create a mood board for our current emotional state, I chose floral imagery to represent my desire for spring and contrasted it with the full fur coat to hint at my then current reality that it was winter.

Jonathan Simkhai Illustrations
I illustrated these in the spring of 2017 as a final project for my fashion illustration class. I chose to illustrate three of Jonathan Simkhai’s looks because I am inspired by his extreme attention to detail in his pieces.

'What's in Your Suitcase?'
Illustrated in the Spring of 2016, I chose these twelve items to represent what I would carry in my suitcase - demonstrating my love for fashion.

Self-Portrait, 2016
As I was closing out freshman year, I drew this self-portrait as my final project.

Textile Design Block Print + Indigo Dye
For my Textile Design class in the Fall of 2016, we learned fabric manipulations such as how to block print on fabric, shibori dyeing, batik, silk screen printing and indigo dyeing. On the left is my block printed fabric, titled ‘A Desert Dream’. On the right is my indigo dyed silk scarf.
